Reputed to be a "black" tulip Queen of the Night is actually a deep wine purple, the floral version of a delightful merlot. Plant this tulip where the light plays across the petals early or late in the day for greatest benefit. Excellent planted with pinks for contrast; Light and Dreamy or Ollioules partner very nicely.
While all flowers have their beauty, we're partial to those that show up and show off, repeatedly. These tulips deliver; resprouting and reblooming for consecutive 3-5 years. (Most tulips can be counted on for one or two years of blooms.)
