Hailing from steamy Louisiana where not all potatoes grow well, La Soda is a delicious red spud perfect for boiling or roasting. High yielding in cold or warm regions of the country, this potato is ready to harvest midseason. La Soda stores better than other red varieties, assuming all aren't gobbled up shortly after harvesting. Pretty pink skins make for an attractive table presentation.
Potatoes can be grown in the garden, in tubs, half whiskey barrels, horticultural fabric bags and other large containers - use your imagination!
