Most new color and pattern introductions are the result of careful hybridizing. Sensation, with its crisp white picotee edged petals was discovered as a naturally occurring "sport", a single individual that just grew differently from all its siblings. Causing a sensation (hence the name) from the very beginning, this popular lilac is a favorite for front and center placement. Light, sweet scent.
