Geraniums / Cranesbills

Geraniums / Cranesbills

Hardy geraniums, also known as cranesbills (the seed pods look like a bird’s bill), are unrelated to front porch planter geraniums, which are pelargoniums. Sorry for the confusion. Cranesbills are long blooming, easy care, spreading perennials that belong in gardens coast to coast. Established plants deliver quarter sized flowers, bright dots in white, pink, purple and (almost) blue from spring through fall for year. If desired, refresh with a haircut mid-summer. These plants are some of the most pest- and disease-free around. Get your flock planted this season.
