The scoop on Freesia Double Blue Grower's Mix

Some gardeners believe the double flower-form freesia are twice as lovely as the single. We love them all because each type is richly colored and artfully accented, outstanding for cutting and sweetly scented.

Our big, fresh freesia bulbs are select growers blends; each season is a new adventure as the mixes vary annually . . . lighter, darker, solid colored or with contrasting throats. Gorgeous! And fragrant, of course. Freesias grow from bulbs that resemble large corn kernels. Popped into warm spring soil, these plants sprout quickly and flower mid-summer. Excellent for cutting.

Why Grow Freesias?

  • Freesia are excellent cut flowers
  • These slender plants take up little room; perfect for tightly packed gardens
  • Freesias have a sweet, unforgettable fragrance
