Some dahlia plants mature to an enormous size and are challenging to site in a home garden. Not Waltzing Mathilda. This dark leafed, open-faced beauty grows to just 3 feet and is covered with semi double coral raspberry flowers accented with gold centers. Excellent for cutting or garden use. Site in front of a light colored wall or fence for maximum impact. According to one of our customers in the Northwest, this dahlia is a hummingbird's delight. And as for credentials, Waltzing Mathilda has earned Royal Horticultural Award of Garden Merit, which is a big deal.
Dahlia tubers can be saved, divided and shared. Click on the Dahlia Planting Guide button, right, for details and growing tips.
