The scoop on Dahlia Preference

There are a handful of classic dahlias in our offering; Preference is one. First introduced in the 50's and now very hard to find, this variety still pops up on lists of favorite cutting dahlias. Why? It's a garden diplomat, flowering in a shade that artfully straddles the line between pink and peach. Sensational with deep purples and wines. Light and cheery with yellows. Long lasting, semi-cactus blossoms on dark stems are an excellent midsize at 4-5" and festoon 4 to 4 1/2 foot plants.

Why Grow Medium Garden Dahlias?

  • Few flowers offer the color and form diversity of dahlias
  • Grow medium garden dahlias for sumptuous color and lavish cut flowers.
  • Preference has long flower stems, perfect for cutting
