Bigger isn't always better. Case in point: Franz Kafka dahlias. These pretty pompon flowers are on the small side - about 2-2.5" across - and that's fine. They'll win your heart with their perfect symmetry and happy color. We're not sure of the connection between this cultivar's name and that of the Czech writer, Franz Kafka, but how could it hurt to have a literary genius as a namesake?
