The scoop on Dahlia Cafe au Lait Rose

Cafe au Lait, the most popular dahlia in America, has a cousin, Rose. This expressive dahlia is similar in both size and form to the lovely Cafe au Lait but the color leans more to rose and pink with some of the same fetching color intensity and wash variations. A new variety and an exciting one that we'll be growing in 2019. (Stay tuned for updated photos.) Care to join us?

Why Grow Dinner Plate Dahlias?

  • Few flowers offer the color and form diversity of dahlias
  • Dinnerplate dahlias are garden showgirls; flashy, sensational and thrilling.
  • Pinch young plants to produce bushier plants and the biggest blooms; see Dahlia Planting Guide for tips

Note: Cafe au Lait blooms in a range of shades; ivory, light pink, mocha and more. This new sibling, Cafe au Lait Rose also varies. Circle back for fresh-from-the-garden photos in 2020, after we've grown, trialed and photographed this new intro in our own gardens.
