The scoop on Chionodoxa Blue Giant

After a long winter, any garden color is prized. Especially blue. This bag of 20 bulbs adds soft blue stars to garden edges, containers and devil strips. While it may seem odd to refer to these petite stars as "giants" this blue variety does, in fact, produce flowers that are noteably larger. And lovelier.

Why Grow Chionodoxa / Glory of the Snow?

  • Glory of the snow are early spring bloomers, providing colorful flowers before much of the rest of the landscape awakens
  • These starry little flowers are easy, cheerful, economical and excellent naturalizers
  • Chionodoxa work beautifully in perennial beds, adding early color
  • Glory of the snow blooms in sprays of 5-9 flowers . . . little stems of stars

Deer and rodents don't include glory of the snow on their favorite foods list.

This is a Leafari staff tested and recommended variety.
