Aptly named, Ruby Star blooms in a deep shade of ruby red accented with lighter stripes along the petal centers and most pronounced on the bottom. To add a jaunty little flair, the top petal often grows with a tiny, endearing curl on the end. This cultivar was developed about 10 years ago and has been gathering devotees ever since. Grow it once, you'll see why. Large blooms, medium stem length.
Tip: all amaryllis bulbs are not the same. Larger bulbs produce more flower stalks and more blooms per stalk. Get big, healthy, carefully held bulbs - optimum temperature, humidity and light conditions - here and enjoy truly stunning flowering amaryllis. (Note: different varieties mature to different bulb sizes. All the bulbs here are large to very large for the individual cultivar.)
Planted amaryllis are top dressed with natural moss and sent with easy growing instructions. Feel free to add a gift message as you check out. Then just tell us where to deliver your selection!
